This is simply a test message to check that the forum software is working properly.

I tried to use the profile prism for my film scanner-the DSMP. I created a profile of the size 250kB. The scanner was connected to my Windows 2000 Platform via SCSI board. The imaging device in control panel does not show the scanner, so that I can't simple link the ICC profile to the device. Then I tried to locate the original profile with the software, and I found a sub-directory in the program file with the names mltd5000p and mltd5000n, each 3.5kB in size. They are probably the icc profiles for the scanner, one +ve one -ve. Then there are two profiles in the winnt/system/spool/color, with the names mltd5000 and mltd5000n. I replaced the original mltd5000p and mltd5000 profiles with the one I created, and then run the software. Unfortunately I only got the error message of 'unable to open the icc profile'. In short, I don't know how to use my icc profile created with pp in my DSMP film scanner. Can anyone help me. Regards, Edward.
